I purchased a student version of Photoshop CS3 back in 2008, and the hard drive of the computer I loaded this software onto died. So I tried to load this software on my new computer, and I had to contact customer service because my serial number had to be reset. Well after I loaded this software, I've noticed I'm missing features like the patch tool, healing brush, and red eye. My pop-up lists don't appear when I select the buttons on the tool bar. I only have access to one feature per tool button. Can you please tell me why I'm missing my features when they appeared before I had my serial number reset?

None of those features depend on the serial number.
But they are under other tools on the tool bar.

It sounds like you have problems with your mouse or system settings that are preventing the popup tool lists from appearing and letting you switch tools. You can always use the tool shortcuts to rotate among the tools in each slot.

i tried using the tool shortcuts (shift and "J" for example). The tools don't rotate, it's like they're nonexistent. It only gives me access to the primary tool for each button. Should I uninstall this software and reload it? If so, would I have complications with my serial number not resetting? I've tried talking to customer service, and they will no longer talk to customers with "OLD" software! So, how would I get my serial number reset if I had this problem?
