I would love to switch to Adobe Revel but I'm missing basic functionality on a Windows 8 PC app (using Windows 8 and planning to buy Windows RT tablet).

1. Display and edit event tags in library photos. Separate photos in library view based on events
2. Display and edit captions
3. Display and mark photos as favourites
4. Set cover photo for album

Is it by purpose or is it just first version of windows 8 app and these features will be added in next releases ?

P.S. web version of adobe revel can help with marking photos as favourites and editing captions but is not able to add event tags to photos.

Thanks for support and regards

Since we release revel on many plaforms, there is a bit of a rotation when new features are added. The new features are generally added to each platform on it's next scheduled release. Captions and favorites are available in the latest release of Windows 8 that is now available from the Windows app store. It also supports video, commenting, PNG files & more.
