Photoshop: Missing 100% shortcut after update 13.0.4 x64 on MAC

Hi there,

I just updated Photoshop extended from 13.0 x64 to 13.0.4 x64 on OS X 10.8.2 hoping to solve saving errors on our server with adobe software.

But suddenly I encounter bugs I didn't have before:
• Irritating is that I won't see the photoshop icon in the dock menue bar any longer
• Very annoying is that the shortcut "cmd+alt+0" for 100% view doesn't work anymore. Contrary to my colleages who haven't updated so far my flyout-menue gives "n" as shortcut which of course doesn't work. My colleagues' flyouts say ("cmd + 1")

As the update made my working live worse instead of better is there any chance for me to downdate to 13.0 x64?

Cheers,
Markus

Howdy Markus,

Have you tried resetting the Keyboard Shortcuts? On Mac, click Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and choose the Photoshop Defaults from the dropdown.

Thanks,
David

Thanks David!

I'm glad I didn't trash the initial install files! Reinstalling Version 13.0 x64 helped to get rid of the % problems. Bevor doing that I found another issue: When displaying a file in 100% the info bar at the bottom of the window said 200%.

Anyway, I had to reset the shortcuts to default as well. Could have thought of that – Thanks ;-) Strange is, that I didn't change the shortcuts in the first place ...

I still have some issues with bridge but I can work again. Let's hope the next update works better.

Cheers,
Markus

Howdy Markus,

Glad I could help.

With regard to the other issue with 100% displaying as 200% -- you're no longer seeing that, are you? Just want to find (and squash) as many bugs as I can...! 8-)

Thanks,
David

Can't say how it is with 13.0.4 x64 but with 13.0 x64 it's ok again.

Hey Chris, did you change something in the update files?
Else I don't see the point ;-)

The updates fix hundreds of bugs, including working around several Apple fileserver bugs (but we haven't worked around all of them yet, and Apple is still finding more bugs in their fileserver code).

The lack of an icon on the dock is an OS bug (triggered by an app updating from non-retina to retina), usually solved by restarting the machine.

And David asked you to try resetting the keyboard shortcuts to fix the lack of a shortcut that you reported.
