Hello, I found that the "Missing Glyph Protection" in Photoshop is not working as in Illustrator...

I always working on chinese contents, and I always need to apply english font glyph in whole paragraph of text that already applied with chinese font. Illustrator does this well, when I applied english font to mixed contents, only english glyph will got changed, and chinese glyph remain unchange, but when I do the same thing in Photoshop, it will change the Chinese glyph to the english font as well, since english font didn't have chinese glyph, it will make it into a square or "TOFU"...even I try to turn it on or off in Photoshop Type Preferences also with same result...

Long long time ago this features is no problem in Photoshop before CS6 (Maybe earlier version, i forgot which version, but i surely remember this feature is work well in Photoshop)

Anyone have same issue? Is this a bug? or I misunderstood something?
