Look for your LightRoom catalogue on the old mac, then copy that where you want it to be, then locate the folder where the images were stored...

My recommendation is to use this setup, subscribe to a free Dropbox account, make a folder there called Lightroom Catalogues, put the catalogue file there, this way it's always backed up, then get a largish external disk (a fast one at least 7200rpm) and make a folder called LightRoom Photos, put your Lightroom photos there and open LightRoom tell it to look in the Dropbox folder for the catalogue and resync the photos to the external... This way you can mirror the Photos using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper and know that you have backups of everything :)

Bear in mind that if your catalog shows zero photos, that means that you have already let Lightroom create a brand new one and that is the one you are looking at right now. So when following the instructions on how to move the old catalog, make sure you overwrite this new catalog with the old one, or trash it first before you start the move. Otherwise you may still end up with Lightroom using the wrong one.
