Metadata editing bugs in Lightroom 5

LR5 - the "sort" on capture time appears to be using one of the other date time stamps than the one used when you use LR5 to adjust the capture time. Hence, after correcting a bad camera date which updates the "date time original" tag in the Exif medadata, the corrected date/time isn't reflected in the "sort" on capture date choice which one finds from the "view" menu.

Also, updating any metadata fields for jpeg files, probably other formats as well (but I haven't tested yet), causes file creation dates on Mac OSX to be reset to when the metadata got changed. That doesn't make sense. The Mac OS file modification date should change, but not the creation date. The OS file creation date is an especially important field to stay synchronized with EXIF date time original file because most people trying to sort in the OS by creation date want digital image files ordered in ascending/descending order by date and time the picture was taken not subsequent picture editing or other file modification times.
