Hello,

I have an issue with Lightroom.
There are keywords which are exporting as metadata burned in to the file when I have specifically asked it not to export this word. I have sub categories such as 1.PEOPLE which contains individual names, these names I want to export however I don't wish for 1.POEPLE to export.

Please can you instruct me on how best to fix this issue.

 Thank you

Go to your Keyword List panel and type "People" in to the search field.

Then, for each occurrence of People, double click on the keyword and make certain Include on Export is unchecked.

I think Rikk answered the question the other way around.  If you want KW's like "Joe", "Mary" and "Fred" to be exported in the file but not the word "1.People" follow these steps.
1) right click (ctrl+click on Mac) on the "1.People" KW, select "Edit Keyword"  and then un-check the "include on Export" button.
2) on each individual name do the same thing but check the same box

Thanks Guys,

But actually I have been doing exactly what you said all along. Even when I un-check the "include on Export" button, it still exports it like it is just not responding to the change in export commands.

Can you show us a screenshot of your Export dialog including the Metadata Section?
