adobe premiere element 9 bug report

When I add a menu to my project and save the project. I cannot open the project again. It gives an error like, serious error cannot open project file, trying to save the current project.

This is ofcource very annoying, because if you have changed the menu to your own likings there is no way to use it again. And you have to make your entire project again.

Regards.

I tried the english version and the same problem over here.

New project, then Disc Menus and select Slideshows, drag and drop the Pan and Zoom. Then save the project file (File, Save).
Then open the same project file again (File, Open Project...)

Then you will get the error

The same happens ofcourse when you have finished all your video editing and save your project with a menu.

Do you have all the latest updates installed? Does the error occur with all files used for menus or just specific ones? (e.g. try creating a very simple new file for a menu and try the same steps)

Hallo Jeffrey,

I had installed all the updates.

I have tried some other menu themes, these can be saved and opened again.
Only the "Pan and Zoom" theme is corrupt after saving. (there might be others, I did not test them all.)

Just my luck that, the "Pan and Zoom" is the only one I like ;-(

Will this be fixed in an update?

I sent the info the engineering team. They're investigating.
