The menus and palettes in CS5 are way too small. This is going to be an insurmountable obstacle for some users, and a definite annoyance for everyone else. It would be very helpful if the menus and palettes could be re-sized. I'm seriously considering returning my purchase and going back to my old version simply for the convenience and ease of having decent-sized tools. This is a very fundamental problem in an otherwise fantastic program and needs to be addressed.

You can resize the text in the menus and the rest of the UI in Photoshop's preferences.

Thanks Chris. Edit>Preferences>Interface>UI Text Options>UI Font Size helps somewhat with the Menu text size, but it doesn't do anything for the Tool Palette size. I'd like to see the palette size be made bigger or adjustable--as it is, the tool buttons are just too tiny.

Mm, the tool palette never has been resizeable in any way. So I'm not sure what you mean about going back to an old version that had "decent sized tools". And even the font scaling is relatively recent.

Are you running on a laptop with an insanely high DPI screen, by any chance?

This problem has been around for some time now. Adobe's silence regarding the matter speaks volumes about their attitude towards supporting their customer base. Fundamental to any graphics program, particularly one bearing upscale pricing, is the ability to handle high resolution graphics screens. This one does not. So like me, move on to one that does and has a responsive publisher as well.

I contacted adobe support because of that issue today since I am using the Creative Cloud now. Its not possible to change the UI Size in Illustrator, in Photoshop its possible to do a little at least.
Support told me that they can ́t help me out with that issue. I should search Adobe Community instead to find a solution.
THANK YOU ADOBE! I think I will cancel my order the next days.
It ́s horrible that they don ́t care at all about such relevant issues like this!
