This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Lightroom Classic 7.3: Creating, deleting, and renaming preset folders

I'll work with Lightroom Classic CC (version 7.3.1). When I try to create a new preset folder with the menue point Develop -> New preset folder... (Ctrl+Alt+N) nothing happened.

Is this a bug or did I something wrong?

The issue is that a Preset group or folder cannot be empty.  If it is, Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1 won't show it in the Preset panel.  You have to have a Preset already in the folder for Lightroom to display it.

The workaround for this issue right now is to:

1. Create a new preset by clicking the [ + ] on the Preset panel header and selecting Create Preset
2. In the Group pulldown, scroll to the top and select New Group...
3. Give your Group a name and click [Create]
4. Allow the Preset to be saved by hitting the [Complete] button.

You should now have a Preset Group available in the list.  You can drag and drop presets to rearrange as necessary.

Thanks for the reply. I know this workaround, but there's a point in the menu, Develop -> New preset folder... (Ctrl+Alt+N) (I've translate it from the German version). When I click to this point in the actual version it seems there's no functionality.

What does this menu entry do?
