Photoshop: Menu bar icons lack text labels and have no tool-tips.

Which icons are you referring to?
Which tool?
Which OS version?

And Photoshop doesn't have any icons in the menu bar, except for the Apple icon on MacOS and whatever icons your OS has added to the right of the menu bar.

My apologies, 'Options Bar' But I'm guessing you actually knew what I meant.

Every one of those icons and controls has a tooltip, and they work on both platforms (though I think the range menu label doesn't for some reason).

They only lack labels if you are short on display space and we use an alternate version of the options bar that takes less space.

Hmm I wasn't aware the narrow bar option existed and CC changed my bar to the narrow setting for me. Might be not the best default setting. I guess I had disabled tooltips prior to that when there were text labels by default. Anyway, it's better now. Thanks.
