Lightroom Classic: Masking Not Displayed in "Library" Module?

I'm a longtime Lightroom Classic user and have noticed in recent days that, when viewing a photo at 1:1 in the "Library" and "Develop" modules, noise in the image displayed in the "Library" module appears subtly more apparent. It's almost as if the "Masking" setting in the "Sharpening" area of the "Develop" module is not being applied to the image when displayed in the "Library" module.

I'm running version 9.2, ACR 12.2, on a Windows 10 laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU and with full graphics acceleration enabled.

There may be subtle differences in Library Previews from what you see in the Develop module. The two are rendered in different color spaces. Do you have an example which definitively shows a difference in the preview with radically different values for the Masking slider?
