When I auto tag my photos in the map module of Lightroom it works quite well.
However, sometimes I’m not sure about the correct time zone offset. So I auto tag the pictures. Then I check whether the assigned locations are correct or not. If the location is wrong I change the time zone offset and try again.
The problem is: It seems that auto tagging in Lightroom only works for pictures without any GPS coordinates. If the picture already has GPS data the auto tagging does not work anymore. I always get the message “No matching photos”.
This is really annoying because I have only one shot at getting the time zone offset right.
(I work with DNG files, Win7 64-Bit, Lightroom 4.3)
