Lightroom Classic: Malfunctions after exporting a big batch of photos

Every time I try to export a big batch of photos, anywhere between 200 and 1000 photos, I have a few problems.
- It is extremely slow.
- After having created the new files, importing them to catalog is even slower. The count number on the folder adds up very, very slow and sometimes it doesn't even finish the job.

In the example below, I have 812 RAW files, Lightroom exported only 409 JPG images and it shows only 187 on the library.

Also, after the failed export that took so long, Lightroom shows a "!" symbol on the files saying that there's a problem with them and I can't work with them. It doesn't allow to sync the folder and even the Menu/File/Quit Lightroom option is disables, so I had to force quit.

So finally, after the very slow failing export and the Lightroom getting stuck and requiring re-start all I can do is try again and hope for the best.
