I am running Windows 7 and trying to email photos using Elements 10. I get an error message saying to "make sure microsoft outlook is selected as the default e-mail program in the windows internet control panel and that all dialog boxes in outlook are closed. Alternatively, use Adobe email service via Elements organizer preferences."

I am unable to make the default designation in Windows and am unable to use Adobe email service via Elements organizer. I have been using Outlook as my only email program for three years.

please help me correct this problem..

Thanks,
Sam

Please go to menu 'Edit' > Preferences > Sharing . Select 'Microsoft Outlook' or 'Adobe Email Service' whichever you want to use

Here are the steps to make Outlook as a default e-mail program:

Click Start.
Type "default programs" in the Start Search box.
Click Default Programs under Programs in the search results.
Now click Set your default programs.
Highlight Microsoft Office Outlook or Microsoft Outlook on the left.
Click Set this program as default.
Click OK.

Also, let us know the issue that you face while using Adobe Email Service.

I have Windows 7, but did not purchase Outlook. Microsoft has recently changed Hotmail to Outlook, but it does not display as an option. Ever since the change, I have not been able to display my address files in Photoshop Element 9. My only choice in Photoshop is Adobe Email Service. I retyped my addresses into the Adobe contact file, but they disappeared the next time I loaded the software. This is very frustrating when sharing photos because it requires me to minimize Elements while I go to my email contact list and copy the addresses one by one.
