Lightroom: Development settings aren't being applied before exporting slideshow

To create timelapses with Lightroom, I take a bunch of pictures, develop
one of them as I like, copy-paste the develop settings to all and then
export a slideshow.

This, however, does not apply the develop settings to all pictures. I have to go manually through the pictures (just viewing them suffices). The old version will be shown for a second, then the version with the new settings appears.

I'm using Lightroom 6.7 with Camera Raw 9.7 on Windows 10.

As a test, if after copying and pasting the settings from your develop to the 'to-be-developed' list, you wait for a period of time (say 10 minutes) does the the resulting slide show appear as expected?

Hi Jan,

I have tried this on our end and I was not able to reproduce this on my Win10.

Could you share your Help-->System Info?

Also, could you let us know:
How many images were there in the batch?
What kind of files were you processing?
What all develop setting were involved?
Also the question that Rikk asked, does it result in expected result after waiting for some time before exporting the slideshow?

Hi,

I waited 10 minutes in the slideshow tab, and even have used the catalog for some time since I opened this issue, still the same problem.

There are 100 photos in the batch. The files are NEF files (Nikon D5300). Develop settings were exposure in this test, but it also happene with crop.

Smit, Rikk....I've been able to repro what looks to be the same issue, see this thread: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2272496

The problem didn't happen when exporting the slideshow as a PDF, but did occur when exporting as video.

I have the same problem developing photos for a timelapse-sequence. General adjustments in the library module as well as synchronised development adjustments does not affect all selected photos, just the ones viewed in the "bar". Unless I check all photos (thousands and thousands) the result is bad flicker.

Also: Neither purging the cache memory, switching to "Standard" previews at import or unchecking the Graphics Processor as suggested in other threads has solved this problem for me (running Lightroom 6.12).

A workaround for this bug: Select all the photos in the batch, do Library > Previews > Build Standard-Sized Previews, wait for the progress bar to indicate completion.  See this topic for more details:
