Photoshop (21.1.2): Major shift canvas bug with mouse and tablet

Since Photoshop 21.1.1 a new bug was introduced which causes the whole canvas to shift offset instantly when you release the button, when you try to move around with a mouse. This happens after you have used a tablet for a bit. I do not know exactly what causes it to start but it happens all the time and I have now tried it on two machines and it happens on both. The only way to make it work properly again is to shift the canvas around with a tablet pen, but after a while it starts again
.
I use a wacom cintiq with Windows INK.
This is extremely annoying and I hope you will look into it.

Please see this video of the problem.

I have found out that this often happens during the process of flattening and image, resize it and then save it. It doesn't happen every time, but I managed to replicate the problem this way.

I have exactly the same problem. I think this comes from a compatibility problem between the latest version of photoshop and the wacom tablet.I think

Yeah it seems to me that there's some WinINK bug in Photoshop which causes this at random incidents. I also have the problem that every first new action I do with the tablet, like resizing the brush with ctrl+alt drag has a tiny pause the first time I do something, as if the WinTab tablet drivers needs a microsecond to initiate. It might be related, I don't know.

I have reported this twice now and also the other problem, but no answer from Adobe, so I'm not very optimistic about a fix.

I'm on mac and I have the same problem. I think it comes from the new Photoshop composition engine as well. I will go back to the previous version.

Ah ok then its not WInINK related. Yeah I have tried with Legacy Compositing it doesn't help either. The problem was in the previous build as well, so you need to go 2 versions back. I do not understand why noone else is reporting this. I have it on all o3 machines I have tested.

Ok, I just realized since the last version, never had this bug before. I also have a problem with the merge mask button in the palette which turns gray and becomes impossible to apply with a predefined selection.

I have also various bugs with the use of the mouse on the latest versions of photoshop... If I want to use the rectangular selection tool, there's a small lag and sometimes the selection is completely off. Also if I use the Text tool and I just click on a document without even dragging the cursor, it opens a huge text box...

Those bugs don't appear with the use of the cintiq pen. More strangely, they disappear (for a while) if you go into the pen parameters in wacom desktop center and move them a bit then go back to normal. I don't know why.

Not related to the mouse problems, I noticed other bugs like the freeze of the "new layer" and "trash can" icons over a period of time... Adobe released a new update these days (I noticed it yesterday) so I still don't know which bugs are taken into account yet (the bug with the text tool is still here).
