The codec "MainConcept MPEG-2 Video Decoder", which is used in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for rendering mpg-videos is out of date and very old (from year 2009) and makes problems by using Software from Rapid Solition "Audials One 10". Audials One suggested to uninstall Adobe Premiere Elements 11. If I do this, Audials One 10 works fine. After reinstalling Adobe Premiere Elements 11, I have to problem again after first use of a mpg-video in PRE Video Editor, which downloads and activates the codec again. The filename of the codec is "“C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 11\32\”". Adobe support denies any responsibility for other programs, but this doesn't help me: I need a solultion. One solution could be the current codec from MainConcept for MPEG-2 Video Decoder, which is already offered from MainConcepts SDK for 64-Bit OS and Windows 7. The currently used codec in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 is out of date and not developed for Windows 7 64Bit OS, just for Windows XP and Vista.
So my request to the development of Adobe is to update its used codec pack in Adobe Premiere Elements 11. Rapid Solution also denies any responsiblity for other third party software, so each manufacturer is only responsible for it own software and the customer is the sufferer. This must be changed, Adobe should fullfill its task and responsibility, to support their customer.
