Issue: Multi-gesture support using Apple Magic Trackpad or Macbook Pro trackpad to switch between spaces, activate app expose, and numerous other 3 or 4 finger gestures is lost while using Photoshop CS6.

System specs:
Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display (15")
Operating sytem: OS X 10.8.2
Apple Magic Trackpad
Photoshop CS6: 13.1.1 x64

Steps to reproduce:

I am using a 27" Apple Cinema Display as the primary display.
15" Retina display on the Macbook Pro is the secondary display.

Photoshop is displayed on the Macbook Pro (secondary display)

-> Open a PSD that contains layer styles.

-> Open the layer styles window for a layer so that it is displayed on the primary display.

-> Verify that you can still 4 or 3 finger swipe between spaces (OS X)

-> Move the layer styles dialog to the lower right corner of the primary display.

-> Select the desktop or finder so that photoshop and the layer styles dialog lose focus.

-> Do not use multi-gestures yet.

-> Now select the layer styles dialog.

-> Attempt to use multi gestures with 3 or 4 fingers (swipe to a different space), the ability is now lost.

Thanks for the details. I've asked QE to take a look. The team is off for next week, so replies will be slow in the next 10 days or so.

That is really odd, since the gestures are (supposed to be!) interpreted by the OS before they get to the application.

Seems to happen with other dialogs within Photoshop, not just the blending Options dialog. New Layer dialog for example.

Not sure if this will be helpful, but if you follow the steps above and lose gestures. Then follow the steps above exactly a second time, you will get gestures back again.

I have verified that the issue still exists even on a single display so I'm more confident now that it is unrelated to running a secondary display.
