Elements Organizer is still new on Mac. Elements 10 Organizer is only the second release. With each release, more features will be added, with a goal to reach feature parity between the two platforms.

The features that are on Windows only are based on technologies that are only available on Windows. These either rely on features to be added to the Mac OS or for us to engineer a solution ourselves. The second option is the one that is more likely to happen, however it also the one that will take longer.

Why would adobe specifically exclude the slideshow feature for MAC???? I had every intention of getting elements for my new MAC because the slideshow features allows you to control the music......no other application does this. I am beyond sad and frustrated!

Why doesn't Elements 10 for Macintosh include the slideshow feature??.

Like Jan, I'm furious and I find the Official Rep's response completely unsatisfying, even disingenuous. Lightroom 3 for Mac's slideshow works just fine (for an extra $300)!

Lightroom's slideshows are very different from Photoshop Elements. Based on a very different technology. For Photoshop Elements on Windows, it is based on Windows Media Player. As this does not exist on Mac, we have to create something new. We cannot, unfortunately, simply "steal" the slideshow capabilities from Lightroom and shove them into Photoshop Elements, the programming doesn't work that way.

Google Translation: Incomprehensible to me for a thousand € CS5 buy a slide-show to create? Is there not a tool for PSE 8?

I have always used Adobe Photoshop Elements and never had any issues. Now I have a new MAC and Elements 10 and I can't burn my photos on a cd or export them to a saved file

Slideshow was available for the Mac in Adobe Bridge CS4and that was what the family was using. I just upgraded to Elements 10 and was surprised as this topic thread confirmed the ability to do a slideshow is not there. What my family looking for is just a simple slideshow of the pictures we upload - even before editing.

First thanks Adobe for confirming that function is not there and saving me time trying to find something that is not on the Mac version. But please get me out of "Family Tech Support" hot water and add at least a basic function soon.
