Lightroom Classic (8.0): Does not import photos from iPhone X (iOS12): Photos taken with Moment Pro (macOS 10.13.6)

Images show up in the import dialog after restarting both mac and iphone. I select even 1 of the images, and end up with either nothing (Importing files... sits and does nothing) or end up with a message saying images cannot be read from or written to. I have full rw permissions on the external drive mounted on the mac, and I don't see any other permission issues on the iPhone. this used to work previous to upgrading to Lightroom Classic CC version 8.0.

Single image selected, notice the previews not rendering:

Lightroom then hangs on this screen:

Would you be willing to share one of your Moment Pro images so that I can test?

Do you have another method for image transfer? File uploads below won't accept .dng, only compressed files, which would defeat the purpose.

Carlos, I had no issue importing your DNG file on my end.  My system is similar but I am using Mac Mojave.

Are you importing by connecting the iPhoneX direct via cable, syncing the file or other?
