LZW doesnt seem to be working when saving 16bit tifs (layered or flat) in PS 2018.
Anyone else having this issue?

I haven't tested it in CC2018, but want to add that LZW compression is sucky on 16-bit files. I recommend you use ZIP instead for 16-bit files.

Also use ZIP layer compression and not the default RLE for the smallest file size. The trade-off is ZIP compression takes longer.

LZW compression on 16 bits images often creates a bigger file, not a smaller file. That has nothing to do with Photoshop CC2018 (it was also the case in previous versions), but with the compression method itself.

Hi Rebecca,

LZW doesn't work in what way? Do you get an error? Some other behavior? Thanks.
