luminance PSC6

hello!
im working with photoshop cs6 and trying to make a stimuli for an experiment. my stimuli is a yellow circle- now, i need the luminance to be 1.9 cd/m2- how can i do this?

Photoshop doesn't have any absolute luminance controls -- because that is controlled entirely by your display.

(ie: white (255,255,255) is the brightest your display can produce)

So to get that specific luminance, you would need a luminance meter and to turn down the display brightness to get the desired luminance.
