I recently added support for specific video export presets to my plug-in via the LrExportSettings.addVideoExportPresets( ) API which I call within the plug-in's ExportService.startDialog() hook. Thanks to the hint on the incorrect API documentation it all works well in Lr when using English language setting. The 'Video' section in the Export dialog now shows a listbox ('Exclude Video Files' 'Default Presets', 'Custom Presets') instead of the checkbox 'Include Videos Files' and when 'Custom Presets' is selected you'll find the added Video Export Preset (see screenshot), which works as expected.

Now, when changing language to 'German' or to any other language and restarting Lr, the Video section becomes weird. It reverts to the original layout with a check box 'Include Videos Files' (translated) and the Quality listbox contains either all default presets or just the added custom preset (see screenshots).

The API call returns success, though. I added code to remove all my custom presets before adding them again, but this didn't change the story.

Since this behaviour seems to be an localization issue, I tried to work with LOC strings in various places. This is working for the targetInfo (as you can see in the second screenshot), but I couldn't figure out how the localize the string in the quality listbox and if this would fix the strange behaviour in the Export dialog.

The code can be found here. Any ideas and suggestions are highly appreciated!
