Recently my iMac had a new video card installed. I am not sure if this is the cause of my problem or if the problem started just before. So, when i have edited the photos as I want them to look in Lightroomcc and export them to a USB or Dropbox etc the images that are exported are far darker and more contrasty than the image I have edited. For example, when I have edited, uploaded to Dropbox and the opened the files in the Preview window they show for a split second as they are meant to look bit then take on the darker tones. I have no idea why :(
I haven't changed any settings and I just don't get it.
I am a professional photo studio and now have several jobs backed up to export. Help please! I am running the latest versions of everything

Have you turned off the monitor control that automatically adjusts monitor brightness according to the room ambience?

Hi Lynn, yes. I have been using this Mac everyday for several years and have edited thousands of photos and delivered them to hundreds of satisfied clients.
It is definitely something wrong internally with the computer, perhaps caused by a new video card(?) that was installed recently.
When I export a job as a catalog to my external HD and then open it with my laptop and proceed to upload to Dropbox, the images are just as I have edited them.
It's very frustrating but at least I have this temporary, if time consuming, solution.
