LRc is slow to update catalog from cloud

New LR cloud is very nice tool and at least I have been waiting for cloud version of LR for long time. But, LRc is slooooow when it’s working with updates from cloud. I have two laptops and 77k pics. First laptop is fully synced and second has now been updating catalog for 2 hours. Network connection is 100Mbps/100Mbs/5ms. So, how this can be so slow?

What is your free space like on the hard drive of the slow computer?

Both laptops have 100% same hardware configuration (MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)), but one is for personal stuff and second one, slow, is for work. 

I  think this slowness is coming from Adobe's cloud-service. LRc is new product and most likely they are tuning background infra and that may cause problems and slownes.

My current opinion about new cloud LR is: It's a joke :-)

I have tried to organise albums after successfully migration, but most of time I'm been waiting (2-3 hours from 6 hours) LR to do some updates or syncs. 


While LR is busy with blue circle, my laptop is working fine (internet connection and other apps). Hopefully Adobe will update LR soon :-)

I installed Lightroom into MacBook after fresh MacOS (High Sierra) installation. LR has now spend ~12 hours to get sync with cloud and still trying. Sad.

My LR is still syncing. How it h**l it can take two days to sync local information with cloud information?

Hmm... if I set "Store a copy of all smart preview localy" LR starts to SYNC. Why it can just say "Building smart previews" ?

If you've asked it to store a copy of all smart previews locally, it's syncing them down from the cloud.
