LR upgrades accumulating like separate "space junk" on desktop

I just upgraded Lightroom 4 to 5.0, bought disc, seemed ok, but then also needed labs version 5.2 because I have new Sony RX100 M2 camera, only supported on 5.2 So 4.0, 5.0 are registered, paid for, whatever, and I guess 5.2 still qualifies as "experimental" but it's actually what I need most given my new camera. I am not pleased by having 3 separate versions of LR now presenting icons for startup on my desktop and taskbar (windows 7, not mac). I had thought these versions would "merge" into one another at time of downloads - for example, unless my memory plays tricks, LR 4.4 merged into LR 4.0 when I downloaded it. I don't like the redundancy and mess of "3 separate versions" situation. All I want to see is LR 5.2, not all this other stuff. I am meticulous about computer speed and we all know how these situations gradually lead to the equivalent of "space junk" from dead satellites orbiting earth, only it clogs/slows our pc. How to fix?
