Lightroom: LR RC4.1 comes to a halt when using Luminance NR

I just recently installed LR RC4.1 and it was a huge improvement over LR 4. Thank you.

Most of the sliders work now most of the time but whenever I use the Luminance slider in the Detail>Noise Reduction section of the Develop Module it brings things to a screaching halt. Using this slider on a single image will lock up the program for several seconds. Doing a batch process (about 100 photos) using auto sync locks up the program for 20-40 seconds. The slider is mostly useless when batch processing as it stops on its own when the program freezes. Ihave found typing in the number I want saves me some frustration but it still takes quite a while to get through. The rest of the sliders in the noise reduction section are pretty non responsive for me as well but not as bad as the Luminance slider.

My computer is Home built with a 2.67ghz i7, 12gb ram, and about 500gb free storage on my 1tb drive I use for my photos.

Try closing your filmstrip (this is a known bug).
