My system date and camera date are still in November but when importing Lr imported some of the photos into December folder. This always happened at the end of every months when I imported.

It could be LR, but take a good look at your camera's time setting. Might it be 12 hours wrong - PM instead of AM? Switch the camera to a 24 hour clock. Also review whether the same problem is on your computer.

I have check twice, twice and twice. =) There is nothing wrong with the camera setting, I have even checked the date/time on the jpeg metadata. This does not only happen to my phone-camera, it happened to all my DSLR, past and present. =P All my electronic gadgets that have date/time setting and if setting allows they are always set to 24 hour clock day-one when I owns them. =)

I have been having this problem since Lr4. Although it is a minor problem, but it irritating. Normally I will just move the photos back to the correct folder after import. ='(

The only thing I can guess is, the Lr programmer when doing time computation may not have taken the timezone into consideration (or wrongly) when deciding on which folder to put them. I believe if there is an option to put photos in folders by the hour, the problem will magnified.

If you usually import directly from attached camera, it's probably the same bug as in this long-standing thread:

Assuming this is the same issue, you could avoid the problem by importing from card reader instead of from an attached camera.
