LR edit in PS CS6 applies Auto Sharpening?

I was editing a photo from LR4 using "Edit in CS6" option. I resized the file in PS and hit save which transfer the .psd file automatically as a copy in LR4. The edited file looks so much sharper than the original although I didn't add any sharpening. I read that this is due to the downsampling.

So out of curiosity, I reopened the same RAW file in PS6 from LR4 again (as edit-2), do nothing at all in PS6, hit Save to export the edit-2.psd file back to LR4 and again, the psd file now is sharper than the RAW in LR4. How is this happening and is there a way to turn off this auto sharpening in the settings?

I normally don't use PS and do majority of my photo editing in LR so level with me when talking PS please :)
