LR 5.3 Watermark changes

As of today it does not seem to be possible to make changes to existing Watermarks and overwrite the old ones.
Re-usage of the old name only gives me an error that this particular watermark already exists - I know, that is the one I want to update on - but no chance to say "I know, overwrite with recent changes".
So instead of being able to use 4 watermark-files (left/right upper/lower corner) I will over time end up with many more, which will not be very tidy and manageable, while all that I would need is the possibility of overwriting some of the data in my watermark once a year (and in case I ever change my name one more time or two).
The ability of having the year as an automatic updated field depending on the year when the photo was taken, would of course solve this to a certain degree as well.

In the Watermarks editor, select the one you want to update, make the change, then go back to the dropdown box where you should see your watermark name with (edited) added. Click in the box and down at the bottom of the list should be the option to (Update Preset "your preset name"). Select it and you're done.

Are you doing all that but not getting the update option?

Thanks for your description Jim Wilde - that option was too good hidden for me :)
