LR 4 no auto distortion correction for m43 cameras

Allow m43 cameras to have the auto correct distortion switchable on/off, why does lr auto correct where other raw converters dont or give you the option?

You already have this option with any camera, micro4/3 or not: All you have to do is change the LR 4 defaults for your camera to have the setting not enabled by default.

Some cameras/lenses have the correction enforced.

I agree with the OP. For one, not all images require lens corrections. And a strong distortion correction negatively affects corner sharpness (see example).

But with all being said, I would not hold my breath. This problem has a great dose of politics in it.

Maybe because Pany and Oly don't want their users to see their native lens performance???
