LightRoom 6 GPS Data

I usually capture GPS data using an iPhone App called gps4cam. It creates a .GPX file and I used LR5 to import and auto-tag my photos.
It works perfectly in LR5 until I upgrade to LR6 last week. All data is correctly imported but once I export to JPEG, the metadata seems not exported properly and couldn't be read by software like Picasa (location data not included).
I have checked the EXIF info and compared the files exported with LR5 and LR6 and seems the GPS Version and some other key metadata is missing.
Anyone facing the similar problem and does anyone knows how to solve it?

LR 6 has some bugs writing metadata to files: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...

That thread includes a workaround.

Thanks! I prefer waiting for the bug fix. I downgraded back to LR5 and lost some catalog files that I created in LR6, but better than suffering from slow and unresponsive GUI.
