LR5 reporting missing photos. Catalog pointing to local directory rather than mounted volume

Mac OSX 10.8.4. LR5 is reporting that the photos (thousands of them) cannot be found. All images are stored on NAS which the volume is mounted and available. LR5 is showing previous location as /Volumes/Lightroom/{directory} in the local storage on Mac for the directory. They are and have always been located on the mounted volume called "Lightroom".

Going through the "locate photos" process relinks the images to the catalog but this isn't an acceptable solution for the number of photos and directories involved. So I need an answer.

The problem started after converting from LR4 to LR5.

I stumbled across the resolution. Under "Get Info" of the mounted volume called "Lightroom" it showed it as "Lightroom-1" in the Name & Extension section. Other mounted volumes did not have the "-1". Somehow OSx 10.8.4 didn't release the mounted name "Lightroom".

Resolution: Unmount the drive, Restart, Mount the drive and the "-1" is gone. Now the catalog is functioning normally.

Please withdraw this as a "Report a Problem"
