I am thrilled Adobe added PNG support to LR5. For the past few months many design artists and craft photoshop enthusiasts have embraced LR5 to catalog their "tools" and image collection. The only feature missing is a way to change the background color for PNG files in the Library. When you view a white object on the white background LR5 assigns it "disappears". So snowflakes, white gesso splatters, white letters....can only be seen as white rectangles. Watermarking and identity plates are not what is needed. ACDSee, a competing product, has a feature (done via a plug in) to change the background color of PNG files in the browser window (think Library). This would be a very helpful feature.
