The new menu sizes in LR5 is fantastic.
I recently scanned over 800, the best of my 3,000, 40 year old slides with a well rated portable scanner. The scanner was quick but turned my wonderful collection into a mess of magenta, blue or green. LR5 helped fix many of the color, exposure, color tint and contrast issues created by the little scanner. I love LR5, its my first "go to program" and it's affordable and does some things so much better and quicker than other programs. However, I don't like the catalogs and file saving features, it is often difficult to find saved files when you import and start new catalogs (complicated for no reason). That being said, its still the best photo correction program I have and use with my Canon 60D and my Canon Photo Printer without output problems. I did have to spend some time calibrating my monitor, importing my camera and calibrating my printer together, but once that's done the output is truly amazing and very accurate. What I see is what I get for photo printouts.
