LR5.2 does not know the "short edge" and resizes incorrectly

Here's my problem in short (I have also recorded a short screencapture which illustrates it better...

I want to export an image where the SHORT size should be e.g. 800 pixels long. So I can be sure for print the images is large enough as the LONG side should be ... well ... longer than 800 px. But it ISN'T.

When I set "short edge" (maybe it's called differently in the english version, I'm German) to 800 px, PR 5.2 export the image in dimensions of (in my case) 800 x 533 pixels, when I would expecting 800 x 1200 px.

This can also be seen at http://screencast.com/t/BeGKQ6o6Q

Anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

I cannot duplicate your results.

When I set a 2x3 image to 500 pixels-short edge it comes out 500*750 as it should.

I would recommend you reset your preferences file and see if you still be the same result.

Consider saving export settings in a preset if not already done and post here so export-preset-.lrtemplate-file literate readers can double-check it.

Hey Rikk,

that super-old "delete your preferences"-trick did it.

Now everything works as it should.

Many thanks :)
