I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 on my computer running OSx version 10.7.5. The software seems to have installed properly; however, I receive an Apple error message when I attempt to open the program. The program will not open.
On my Apple laptop I'm able to open LR5. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the software. I don't understand what the problem is. Can someone help me?
My computer exceeds all of the other requirements needed to run this software. Can someone give me advise on how I can make this work?

Thank you

Did you install from Creative Cloud? Or from a disk?

Looking at your account, you purchased the perpetual version.

Download and install the latest perpetual version of Lightroom 5 here:

Hello Jeffrey,
I installed again your latest version (I already did that before), but the problem remains. When I try to open LR it says that I have to check with Adobe if my software needs to be updated. I have OSX version 10.7.5, MEMORY 4 GB, PROCESSOR 2,8 GHZ Intel core 2 duo. It really is a strange problem which didn't happen when I installed the program the first time, after buying it. I even worked with this program, but suddenly I had problems with f. i. downloading the pictures and 'freezing' of the program so I had to stop it and start it again. I really hope you've a solution because I need this program for my work.
