LR4 upgrade: Export Location Dialog folder tree now always collapsed upon each photo export operation

After upgrading to Lightroom 4 (and also now LR4.1) on my Windows 7 64 PC, there is no longer an expanded folder "tree" in the panes of the Choose Folder -> Export Location dialog when exporting photos. At each new photo export operation, all folders in the left pane tree are now collapsed to "My Computer", and no subfolders are displayed in the right pane, even though the prior folder location is remembered in the Folder Path Bar at the top of the dialog.

In LR3 and earlier versions, the export location was remembered from each prior export and the folder tree was *expanded* to the last prior location, which helped me visualize instantly where my currently chosen export destination will go (and made it very quick and easy to change folder destinations, as is usually necessary). With LR4, I now must manually click each subfolder's little viewing triangle simply to visualize the location already listed in the Folder Path Bar. I much prefer having the folders already expanded to the location listed in the Folder Path Bar, as it was far less confusing where my current chosen path is located on my computer, and much faster than repeatedly manually clicking the little subfolder triangles to see where my exported photos will be heading.

Is this a bug, a "feature", a Lightroom preference setting, or Windows 7 setting that has caused this change in Folder Tree display behavior?

Export Location Dialog as it was displayed in LR3 and earlier (good!):

Export Location Dialog as now displayed in LR4 (boo! ;) )
