The stacking function in LR 4 is not working properly. Stacks that I imported from a earlier catalog seem to work, however new stacks that I create do not function. when I click on them to expand or use the expand command nothing happens. the virtual copy is not displayed next to the original. If I send the top photo in the stack to the bottom it is moved to the end of the preview bar. The other copy still does not appear. The whole stacking option is behaving very strangely. Has anyone else had this problem

Did you create some of these stacks while viewing a collection? Or did you create some of these stacks while viewing All Photographs or a folder and are now viewing them via a collection?

In LR 4, the interaction between stacks and collections is even more confusing than in LR 3. In LR 4, stacks created while viewing a collection are specific to that collection only, while stacks created in All Photographs or folders are not visible in any collection. Adobe decided collection-specific pick flags were too confusing, but then turned around and introduced collection-specific stacks -- go figure.
