LR4 in Creative Suite - Great! But....

Hello there - I purchased LR4 on the day of its release (love it) and signed up for Creative Cloud a month ago (love it also). Today I find that I've effectively paid for LR4 twice over. If I'd known it was going to be included in Creative Cloud I wouldn't have purchased it separately. I'm sure I'm not the only customer in this position. Can the LR4 early adopters get a refund on their LR4 purchase?

As far as I know, the answer's no, unless you've purchased in the last 30 days, sorry.

Looking back to blog posts dating back as far as February (and possibly before), LR's later inclusion in the Creative Cloud had been announced before LR4's release.

Thanks for the info, but not it's not good enough (the situation with LR4 and Creative Cloud, not your response). Should have been on LR's product page in that case. I had read rumours that it was going to be part of Creative Cloud, heard nothing further and when Creative Cloud was launched it wasn't there. It's all over Facebook too. There's a lot of very p***ed off people.

I thought that the Creative Suite upgrade price is less than paying for Creative Cloud for 2 years, so I don't understand why anyone would pay for Creative Cloud in the first place. Is there something magical in Creative Cloud that's not offered in Creative Suite?
