LR4 book module - duplicating book and removing most of the pages causes the spine to narrow.

Additionally, the text ("Rishi") is a smaller font size. I can't increase the fontsize back to the what was in the original book; its like the narrower spine doesn't have space for it.

Note: it is the removal of the pages that seems to cause the issue. I haven't tried to replicate on the original book in case something goes irrecoverably wrong.

Yes ... most books will only have a spine to accommodate the quantity of pages used ... a book with 100 pages will have a spine much thicker than a book with 20 pages ... so a book with fewer pages likely won't be able to use the same size text on the spine as there is much less surface area to work with.

Additionally, if you add pages to the book, the spine will grow to fit.

After a good night's sleep, this seems entirely obvious! Thanks for pointing this out to a tired thicko!

Don't feel bad ... it's easy to overlook the obvious when you are weary from a task ... it happens to everyone ... :)
