Not at all unusual for me to have wonky conversions due to over-strong clarity in locals.
Adobe: Please halfen values for local clarity, just like you're doing for global clarity, upon conversion - thanks.
I'm not sure if this was an oversight or on purpose, but it's present behavior is often problematic for me - I often use clarity locally instead of or along with globally - they're like a team... (I know you go through the locals to convert brightness to exposure..., maybe do clarity too for next release?).

Like when you alt-click the exclamation to convert from PV2010 to PV2012 - Lr4 will halfen the global clarity, but leave local clarity values at full strength.
