Lightroom: User Interface confusion (LR 3.6)

I am not sure if this is ilogical only in LR3.6 RC1 as I have no previous version experience.

Reference: User Interface button labeling:
Library Module
"Sync" and Sync Setting buttons (also " Auto Sync" and "Sync Settings")
"Sync" goes to Sync Metedata interface (need to remember this ! )
"Sync Settings" goes to Sync Settings interface. (as expected)

Surely the "Sync"button should read "Sync Meta" (how else would one know)
Sidenote: The Adobe Photoshop Ligtroom 3 book by Martin Evening page 256 shows "Sync Settiungs" left, and Sync Metadata" right.

Why does the "enable" toggle change one label from "Sync" to "Auto Sync"?
Why do all the toggles in all modules show as grey on and grey off, (surely red and green would be logical)?

LR in general does not use any (or as little as possible) colors in the UI, which is consequent (and good IMHO).

Beat, thanks for adding supporting images That top / bottom comparison really highlights hidden depths of logic!

I actually didn't want to make a statement about logic, but show that the book you're refering to is outdated.
