Lightroom: UI is looking outdated compared to Photoshop. Any news on a UI update?

Lr UI is past looking outdated... compared to Ps. Any news on a UI update?
As a creative, I like to work in a creative workspace :)

Hi Mark,

Please let us know which area/module of LR you are finding outdated. Also, which version of LR and PS you are referring here.

For me personally, the "outdated part" is that you cannot customize it. You cannot drag panels to another monitor, but always have to either scroll or click (solo mode) on the panel you need. And since we get more and more functionality over the years, which is very welcome btw., the need for customization gets bigger and bigger.

And let's not forget the antiquated Copy Settings window which, after using Lr for a decade, still confuses me every.single.time. 

Here's a UI option which i presented way back in 2010 to the prerelease team:

I personally wish for a simpler, more "streamlined" apperance of the UI. Lightroom CC goes a very pleasant way, I think the classic version should follow in these footsteps of graphical appearance (NOT the loss of functions). All these frames and shadows feel clunky and outdated ...
