LightRoom to PS not opening multiple files to be edited

I'm trying to open 10 images from the develop module in LR CC 2015 to be further edited in PS CC 2014. I can only open one photo at a time. I know I should be able to shift/select the 10 photos and open them all at once with a simple right click and then select edit in PS. It's not working...it is a pain to have to open one at a time. Anyone else with this glitch? I've compared my preferences to a friend's who can open mulitiple images and the settings are the same. Anyone else with this glitch?

Reset your Preference file by closing Lightroom, holding down [Shifts][Alt/Opt] and relaunching Lightroom. When prompted overwrite the Preference file.

Does that restore functionality?

Just tried it and no...it's still only opening one of the images when I have 10 selected.
Grrrrrrrrr!!! :)

Does it work with 2 photos?

Have you tried it on the Library Grid as well as the Filmstrip in Library and Filmstrip in Develop in Loupe View?

Is there anything strange about the path to the photos that is confusing things--any special characters or an extraordinarily long path or even weird folder permissions--something other than Everyone - Read/Write or Full Control?

Does it work with photos in a different location/path? Try importing a few photos into a folder with a short path that you have Everyone has Full Control to.

Oddly enough, Steve, we tried what you noted about grid vs. filmstrip at some point yesterday. It's not consistent, but eventually we can open a number of photos at a time. Trial and error as to which will work but at least it's a start. Thank you for your reply.
