Lightroom Mobile: Does not sync changes when using cellular data

Expectations: LR Mobile sync is set to use cellular data and also to use less data. My understanding is that I can view a smart preview via cellular data and then edit that image. The changes I make are then synced when I am next connected to WiFi. In the meantime, I wait for any activity in the LR Mobile cloud symbol to finish and then close the app. I reopen it when I return to my WiFi network and then let the changes sync. Problem: once the above is completed, I notice on LR desktop that either not all changes have been synced or are missing all together. This includes any text I enter in the image caption box within LR Mobile. Are my expectations incorrect? Am I using the app incorrectly or missing a step in the process? This has happened to me three times now and I end up wasting time repeating edits all ready made via LR Mobile. Running LR CC 2015.12 on macOS Sierra 10.12.6LR Mobile v.2.8.2 917020 on iOS 11.0.2Thanks

If you touch the "Lr" icon on Lr Mobile's top-left screen, you can access its preference settings. Under "Cloud Storage & Sync", there is a preference setting for cellular data use. Update the setting based on your preference.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me on this. I do understand how to change the sync settings and I believe I am using this correctly - I.e. I have set sync to use less data over cellular. My understanding is that I should still be able to make edits on the go and those changes are uploaded when I next connect to WiFi.

I am experiencing problems with this process - I.e. my edits are not syncing with LR desktop even when I wait for LR Mobile edits to upload via WiFi.

Either my expectations of the “less data” sync option is incorrect or something is wrong with my process or the app.

To determine where it's failing, can you please go to http://lightroom.adobe.com and see if the edits reached the cloud. That'll show whether the problem is between mobile and cloud, or cloud and desktop.
