Currently, TIF files in the camera roll are invisible to Lr Mobile. They can't be added to a collection automatically, and they can't be added manually because they don't appear in the thumbnail list of camera roll photos.

Exactly! Since some camera apps give you the option to save photos in almost lossless TIFF format recently. Some of your powerful competitors (e.g. Camera+ and Snpseed) support this format. I hope to see this in your next update!
Oh Moreover, the PS Express can see them, but can't open them due to an error message.

I just want to add myself to the list of people hoping tiff support will be added to LR mobile. I shoot mostly tiffs with my phone and it's annoying having to downgrade them to jpegs just so I can use LR to edit them.

Please add tiff support!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Lightroom Mobile on iOS - Does not recognize photos in TIF format.

Hi all,
I'm using Lr mobile on my iOS devices. Also, I'm using the app ProCamera to capture photos; this app allows to store photos in TIFF. Unfortunately, Lr mobile does not recognize any TIFF photos but only those in JPG format. Is there any way to change this?
If not, I'd like to suggest that a future version of Lr mobile will be able to deal with all typical photography file formats.

Well it seems there's not enough of us complaining about this, and no one seems to care. Not even a single reply in 2 months sighs...
