Lightroom 2015.6.1: Crash exporting to folder/disk (win)

Brand new install of LR
Had to reset all my preferences
Tried to export to disk and.............

This is happening too often - LR just seems so unstable. Is it only me?
I'm running Win10 Pro on a high-end PC with plenty of memory and disk space.

This happens to me when I try to do too many adjustments at the same time.

This happens when I try to export files to disk. The bigger the files (~5MB) and the more I select the greater the chance of a crash. 
So, if I choose to export say 5 files it usually works. If I try 10 it crashes.
If I choose smaller files (~500K) it usually works fine.
It seems that if you give LR too much to do at one time it just crashes.
LR 6.6.1
My graphics card is: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 with the latest driver
Windows 10 Pro
Intel i7 CPU 
64 Bit system
If I uninstall LR6 and reinstall LR 5.7 it works fine, I can export all I want. 
So all these things tell me something is not quite right with LR 6.6

I have the same situations here. I just make update today to hope everything will be works fine. Crash during export files to folder.  Thinking to rollover and pray for new update.

Can you post your Lightroom system info text here please? (In Lightroom, go to Help > System Info... and copy/paste the text in a reply) It looks like all the reports are from Windows and all the crash/hang happens during the export? Could you update to Lr 2015.6.1/6.6.1 to see if you run into the same issue. Do you know if the issue started when you updated to Lr 6.6?

There are a couple of things that I want you to try after trying out the latest Lr 2015.6.1/6.6.1 update.

1. Generate the Windows crash dump and share the dump file on dropbox or something similar. On how to generate the Windows crash dump, see

2. Try this possible workaround:

  1. Open Lightroom.
  2. Invoke Lightroom > Preferences... menu command
  3. When the Preferences dialog appears, select the Presets tab.
  4. Click on the button labeled “Show Lightroom Presets Folder...”
  5. Lightroom will reveal the root preset folder in the Finder/Explorer.
  6. Now goto and download the config.lua file and copy it into the root preset folder at step 5. The config.lua file will turn off the under-the-hood concurrent export sessions intended to speed up the export on high end machines (4 cores or higher).
  7. Relaunch Lr and see if you can still reproduce the crash/hang on export.
  8. Remove or rename the config.lua from the root preset folder after the experiment (to restore to the original Lr 6.6.1 behavior). If it works out for you, you can leave this workaround in place while we investigate the issue based on the crash dump.

I am running LR 6.6.1
Problem started when I moved from LR5.7 to LR6
I installed the config.lua file as instructed and tried to export the same 41 files.
It got to 38 and then LR crashed. I reset everything, restarted LR and tried again .... Success ! Tried again but this time exporting to another drive and....... Success !
So this could be a fix, at least for my problem. 
The LR system info is below this mail.
I am not sure about the crash dump file. The instructions are for Vista/Win7 and advise to right click the process in Task Manager and create dump file. If I do this for LR the file is HUGE. I have a Windows minidump from the day when the LR crashes were occurring which is at:
