Have you tried "deleting" (temporarily renaming) your preferences file yet?

I was saving that as a last resort. I may have found the problem with a plug-in that was causing the problem.

Hi Arnold,

I noticed this problem has been marked "Solved" - is it solved according to you too? (sometimes "the man behind the curtain" can be a little quick to mark problems as "solved"..).

If problem was due to a plugin, please contact the plugin author - they *always* want to fix such problems if possible..

Rob

I didn't mean to mark it solved. The jury is still out. I installed an update to the plug-in and still testing,

You can't mark it solved unless you have been granted privilege to do so by Adobe (in which case your badge should indicate you are "special"). It was probably marked "solved" by some other "special" user or an Adobe employee.

It seems to me that he/she jumped the gun..
